ATTENTION ALL ADULTS!!!

Whether you are a beginner, learning to play or a intermediate recreational player looking to advance your skills. This Co-Ed Adult clinic covers all the basics to help you improve your game at your pace. One of OHA’s Head Instructors, Pat Kerr, will cover everything from skating, stride control, edgework, puck control and stick handling, passing, shooting and most importantly help with YOUR CONFIDENCE.

The atmosphere is upbeat, supportive, and development-driven. Coach Pat provides constant feedback to ensure players are challenged appropriately for their skill level while still having fun. Every player leaves the ice feeling more confident and capable in all areas of their game.

Key Areas of Focus:

• Skating Fundamentals & Edge Work:
  Acceleration, transitions, crossovers, balance control, tight turns, and stability under pressure.
• Puck Handling & Control:
  Stickhandling in motion, dekes, puck protection, quick hands, and situational movement with and without resistance.
• Passing & Playmaking:
  Forehand/backhand passing, receiving technique, passing under pressure, and small-area games to develop vision and timing.
• Shooting Skills:
  Wrist shots, snapshots, backhands, one-timers, shooting in stride, and quick-release techniques from different angles.
