ELITE SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Designed and delivered by Jay Bergeron, this fast paced dynamic program will ultimately progress and develop your skills to the next level. Each session is comprised of Elite Individual Skill Development where players will be challenged to pass, stickhandle, make moves and shoot in dynamic agility situations. This program will also incorporate simulated games at the end of each session to test a players ability to utilize their arsenal of skills in a competitive and fun environment.

NEXT LEVEL SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Designed and delivered by Jay Bergeron, the Next Level Skills Development Program focuses on the core hockey skills needed to develop a solid foundation free of bad habits. Each week, players will be challenged outside their comfort zone with a progressional focus that will gradually enhance each players hockey skills over the course of the program.

Designed and delivered by Jay Bergeron, this progressional power skating program is specifically designed to enhance a player’s skating ability. The program is built on the core foundational skating skills required to be an elite skater which will directly enhance a players overall game. Each session will have a primary and secondary skating specific skill focus and players will be challenged through numerous progressions of that skill.

One of Oakville Hockey Academy’s main programs. Introduction to hockey is designed for players who have never played the game before and who are are just starting out and eager to learn. We cover everything from balance, proper skating techniques, skating with and without a puck, stick handling, passing, shooting and a daily hockey game. We also incorporate lots of games and fun interactive drills that everyone enjoys.

Led by Jake DeJulio or Pat Kerr, this class is for advanced 7 year old looking to take their game to the next level. The primary focus of this class is skating, so it is strongly encouraged that your child have a solid foundation in skating, stopping and edgework prior to taking this class. In addition to lots of skating, your child will also get a lot of puck control and shooting to continue to build their foundational skills. We will also encourage fun by having a game at the end of every practice.

REP DEFENCE CLINIC, A/AA/AAA PLAYERS ONLY (MAX 8 PLAYERS) $499.99 + HST - 10 WEEK SESSION

This is a very specialized clinic designed for defencemen playing A/AA/AAA level hockey. Focus is emphasized and tailored towards the game of hockey seen by a defenceman. Our defence clinics will focus on developing skating agility, passing and shooting, quick starts, pivoting and escape and lateral movement (explosive). Also the following game situational drills: gap control, breakouts, “leading” using stick to control player’s skaters, net front position, battles and partner work. Players will also learn different types of shots from the point, head manning the puck, pinching (when to and when not to), gap control, 1 on 1’s and 2 on 1’s (down low and coming down the wing). Learn how to become an offensive defencemen as well as a defensive defencemen all in the same hour.
We are not accepting House League Players (Red, White, Blue) in this program. No exceptions! Players may be moved to a more suitable class at the discretion of the Instructor.

SHOOT TO SCORE CLINIC $449.99 + HST PER 10 WEEK SESSION
Led by Oakville Hockey Academy’s top instructors, this class is purely focused on improving shooting. It is strongly encouraged that your child have a solid foundation in skating and balance for this class in order to achieve the best results. Do you want to learn how to shoot like Steven Stamkos or Sydney Crosby? This clinic provides the instruction on the right way with how to shoot a puck. Each class will teach players a number of different techniques and shots. Wrist shots, snap shots, slap shots and backhanders are all some of what is taught over the course of the session. Developing the skills to read a particular situation or when to release the puck are all crucial in developing a young hockey players mind. Learn how to shoot and most importantly how to score.

HOUSE LEAGUE HIGH INTENSITY SKILLS CLINIC (MAX 14 SKATERS) - $449.99 + HST - 10 WEEK SESSION
Led by Oakville Hockey Academy’s top instructors, this program is built on the execution of the fundamentals in hockey. The main focus will be on high intensity power skating including game like puck control and deking. The latter part of this course will cover shooting/passing techniques, puck protection and retrieval techniques. The pace of this program is very high, which will also develop conditioning and execution under pressure.
