HOUSE LEAGUE POWER SKATING CLINIC - $299.99 + HST - 6 WEEK SESSION
Oakville Hockey Academy’s Power Skating program is a highly technical skating clinic. It emphasizes first-step quickness, forwards, backwards, stride strength/power, lengthening and control, reaction skills, crossovers, pivots, lateral movement, controlling the outside and inside edges, transitions, explosiveness, power and acceleration. There is an element of puck control as well while perfecting the above skills. Players will develop the confidence in being able to react and read certain game like situations ie; when to decelerate and accelerate while with the puck and without.

INTRO TO HOCKEY - COMPLETION OF 1-2 SESSIONS AND PREFERABLY PASSED OHA LEARN TO SKATE B OR CAN SKATE EQUIVALENT IS REQUIRED $299.99 + HST - 6 WEEK SESSION
One of Oakville Hockey Academy’s main programs, Introduction to Hockey is designed for players who have never played the game before and who are are just starting out and eager to learn. We cover everything from balance, holding the stick, proper skating techniques, skating with and without a puck, stick handling, passing, shooting and a fun hockey game at the end of every class. We also incorporate lots of fun games and fun interactive drills that everyone enjoys!

REP HIGH PERFORMANCE SKILLS CLINIC $299.99 + HST - 6 WEEK SESSION
This clinic is for both boys and girls but is strictly for REP PLAYERS ONLY (AAA/AA/A) or equivalent MD1/MD2/MD3 for years 2016-2017. This program is designed for Rep Players. We will be focusing on skills that are not always taught in practices with your teams. We cover all types of skating techniques from edge work, to stride control, power skating and proper skating stance. We also incorporate the skating component with stick handling/puck control drills focusing on quick/soft hands, learning how to control the puck without and with pressure in game situations. The last portion of the session consists of several high tempo drills where we combine skating, stick handling, shooting and several game situation type drills. We will also encourage fun by having a game at the end of every session.
Players may be moved to a more suitable class at the discretion of the Instructor.

SELECT/HOUSE LEAGUE COMPETITIVE SKILLS CLINIC (MAX 14 SKATERS) - $299.99 + HST - 6 WEEK SESSION
Instructed by long time Oakville Hockey Academy and Hockey Canada mentor Pat Kerr. This program is built on the execution of the fundamentals in hockey. The main focus will be on high intensity power skating, stick handling and puck control, deking and shooting. Sessions will focus on game like situations and drills. The latter part of this course will cover shooting/passing techniques, puck protection and retrieval techniques. The pace of this program is very high, which will also develop conditioning and execution under pressure.

Whether you are a beginner, learning to play or a intermediate recreational player looking to advance your skills. This Co-Ed Adult clinic covers all the basics to help you improve your game at your pace. One of OHA’s Head Instructors, Pat Kerr, will cover everything from skating, stride control, edgework, puck control and stick handling, passing, shooting and most importantly help with YOUR CONFIDENCE.
