Oakville Hockey Academy’s Rising Stars Development Program has earned its reputation as the top development program in Oakville with its emphasis on skill development, fun, and top notch instruction from professionals. The Rising Stars Development Program is where it all starts. The curriculum is a 24 week (September to March) progressive program developed using the principals of Hockey Canada. The program is divided into four, six week segments focusing on the fundamental aspects from technique to game situational drills created by Former University/OPHL player and OHA’s Director of Player Development Jake DeJulio and NCCP Coach Instructor/Hockey Canada Advisor Pat Kerr.

2022/2023 RISING STARS LEAGUE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:

• 1 Evaluation Skate (Saturday September 10th)
• 23 Skill Practices with Professional Instructors (Starting Saturday September 17th)
• 23 Constructive Controlled/Instructional Games (Starting Sunday September 18th)
• Including 2 Playoff Weekends minimum
• 1 Championship Weekend (March 4/5)
• NO INSTRUCTIONS/GAMES over Christmas Holidays (Dec 24/25 & Dec 31/Jan 1)
• NHL Logo Jerseys & Socks
• END OF YEAR TROPHY CEREMONY

 

Having completed Learn to Skate B/Can Skate Level 2 is REQUIRED.

Controlled/Instructional Practice and Game times will be between 12-4pm on Saturdays/Sundays depending on age and skill level.
