Oakville Hockey Academy’s Rising Stars Development League has earned its reputation as the top development program in Oakville with its emphasis on skill development, fun, and top notch instruction from professionals. The Rising Stars Development league is where it all starts. The curriculum is a progressive program developed using the principals of Hockey Canada. The program is divided into four, six week segments focusing on the fundamental aspects from technique to game situational drills created by 10 year NHL Veteran Jamie Allison, Former University/OPHL player and OHA’s Director of Player Development Jake DeJulio and NCCP Coach Instructor/Hockey Canada Advisor Pat Kerr.

FOR OUR SECOND SEASON:  OHA will be putting together a Tyke “1” Select 2012’s Team.  This team will be selected by our OHA on-ice Instructors.  Tyke Select is an additional program that will run alongside our OHA Rising Stars Development Program.  It is designed for more advanced players to gain competitive hockey skills in a fun environment while getting an introduction to Rep Hockey.  The team will get an extra hour of practice development each week.  OHA will enter this team into 3 Tyke Select Tournaments throughout the 2019/2020 Season, as well as exhibition games.  There will be an additional cost for the Goalies and Skaters who are on this team.
